Role Summary:The Executive Director of Total Rewards leads the development, implementation, management and review of Total Rewards programs across Mission Health System. Provides leadership of executive, and provider compensation and benefits. Leads a team of Total Rewards professionals and guides projects, serving as subject matter expert to manage, design, and deliver compensation programs that are innovative, competitive, fair, and relevant. Works closely with Chief Human Resources Officer and HR Strategic Business Partners to identify and address current and emerging total compensation trends and issues across Mission Health System. Designs competitive and cost effective total rewards programs, practices, and solutions that support a high performance culture. Applies expertise to unique business applications while being a recognized subject matter expert capable of adding value to the business enterprise. Develops and provides business customers with appropriate tools and education to effectively and efficiently make compensation decisions. Provides project management leadership for a variety of projects related to compensation and benefits policy. Develops and presents Total Rewards education to business areas on various issues, new initiatives and implementations as appropriate.

Required Experience: 15 years of Total Rewards/Compensation/Provider Compensation/HR experience--experienced with and solid knowledge of total rewards/compensation compliance laws/requirements, market analysis and pay structure design methodologies, variable compensation plans, and contribution retirement programs. Strong analytical problem solving, influencing, communications, leadership, and project management skills required. Detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks/projects; Demonstrated ability to think strategically and understand business plans, goals, and to relate those plans to compensation. Understanding in total rewards strategy development, policy, plan and/or program design and implementation of strategies and offerings.
Preferred Experience: Prior HR experience within a healthcare provider services organization is highly desired. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
