The American Dental Association is dedicated to promoting the public's health through its initiatives in research, education, advocacy, public awareness and the development of standards. We have an exciting opportunity for a Compensation and Benefits Analyst.
Position Responsibilities: This position is responsible for ensuring compensation and benefits standards comply with ADA policies, guidelines and ADA Core Values. Perform compensation and benefits support activities including market analysis, internal equity analysis, data audits, metric analysis and job evaluations (review revised job descriptions and evaluate jobs to ensure correct salary grade levels and to uncover any inequities). Develop and/or participate in surveys to analyze the ADA's competitive position. Assist with annual, bi-annual and/or quarterly processes for salary merit increases, bonuses and benefits enrollment. Conduct market analysis utilizing survey data and researching current trends. Review proposed salary and equitable adjustments as a result of job (re) evaluations or other changes. Assist in the administration and communications of ADA's benefits programs (plan options, features & enrollment requirements). Conduct cost containment analysis. Generate adhoc data reports from HRIS System when requested. Answer compensation and benefits employee queries. Review processes for efficiencies and provide innovative recommendations. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Benefits & HRIS Systems for the benefits functions.
Requirements: This position has the following minimum requirements:
A minimum of 4 years' experience in Compensation and Benefits arena in the Human Resources field. Must have previous experience with Ultipro System applications.
Must be a self-starter and analytically-oriented.
Must have the ability to: easily identify inconsistencies in data; multi-task in a fast-paced environment; work independently; provide efficiency reviews & analysis and recommend innovative solutions; and interact in a professional manner with all levels of employees.
Must have curiosity and interest in problem-solving and be very detailed-oriented with high level of accuracy.
