The Compensation Analyst provides analytical support and compensation consulting, reporting to the Manager, Compensation. The primary focus of this position is to provide broad-based compensation support. This role will act as a compensation consultant for HR leaders, provide management with analysis and reports, and analyze and review compensation information to make compensation recommendations for employees. Must be able to prioritize and operate in dynamic environment with competing deadlines. In addition, this position will interact with all levels of People Leaders and HR Leaders to make recommendations and resolve compensation related questions and issues. Strict confidentiality, a high-level of accuracy, and the ability to plan/lead projects will be required. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, data integrity, accuracy and a broad understanding of compensation theory, techniques and practices. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop strong partnerships in order to identify and solve compensation related issues.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Conduct job analysis and market studies for positions throughout the organization.
-Review requests for promotions, demotions and other pay adjustments.
-Facilitate the annual compensation review process. Provide reporting to leadership throughout process.
-Administer various Total Reward programs.
-Assist in the development, analysis, implementation, and evaluation of new Total Reward programs.
-Respond to surveys of total rewards practices, including compensation, benefits and perquisites.
-Provide guidance to management on compensation programs.
-Lead and/or provide support for projects.
-Ensure programs and practices are in compliance with all organizational policies, as well as state and federal regulations.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Minimum of two years of experience in compensation or other analytical role
-Highly proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
