KEY RESPONSIBILITIES •Perform individual and systemic benchmarking processes and compensation analyses to ensure competitiveness of compensation in the market. •Lead and/or support processes such as annual merit or incentive processes. •Evaluate compensation process effectiveness, identify and recommend process improvement options, and oversee execution. •Support the development and modeling of salary ranges. •Perform Job Evaluations as needed for assigned groups, including Global Grading. •Design and build compensation metrics, reports and tools to inform compensation program decisions and analyze business outcomes. •Perform periodic analyses to maintain the integrity and compliance of compensation programs. •Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to provide appropriate guidance regarding pay decisions and the interpretation of policies and guidelines. •Participate in annual compensation surveys. •Ensure compensation data is maintained correctly in ABB systems. •Create materials to effectively communicate compensation programs, policies and practices to employees and leaders. •May perform financial modeling to ensure viability of new programs or changes.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years’ experience in compensation
Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
Significant experience working with HR technology, data and reporting
Familiar with current concepts, laws and practices in compensation administration
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Must be results oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
