The Manager – Compensation Programs will be responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of Delta’s executive compensation programs to include short- and the long-term incentive plans. This position will complete analytics and develop recommendations to maintain Delta’s executive compensation structure, support plan design alternatives and effectively communicate plan provisions to the participant groups. This position will be based in Atlanta, will report to the Director – Compensation Programs.
Manage and administer certain short- and long-term incentive compensation plans to include planning, tracking, modeling, payout calculations and communication of plan metrics for the participant group.
Lead the development of complex financial models to support plan design recommendations and the compensation decision-making process for senior management.
Lead competitive benchmarking initiatives for Delta’s executive compensation programs and complete analytics to maintain Delta’s compensation philosophy.
Research and model market trends and best practices and potential impact to Delta’s compensation structure.
Develop communication strategy and materials for compensation plans. Condense complex plan information into succinct and concise statements, education materials, reference guides and plan overviews.
Provide guidance and consultation to client groups in all areas of executive compensation.
Participate in the preparation of annual proxy disclosure information such as CD&A and compensation tables.
Support the development of materials to be presented at P&C Committee Meetings.
Manage the executive compensation relationship with the third party vendors including Towers Watson, PRM, and Equilar.
Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources, or related field
MBA or CPA a plus
WorldatWork Certification a plus
Strong project management skills and the ability to think creativity and innovatively
Minimum of 5-7 years business experience in compensation related duties
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of international compensation a plus
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Access a plus
Experience with SAP a plus
Results orientation and capable of meeting deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
Good written and verbal communication skills
Capable of handling multiple projects and constantly changing priorities
Ability to interact with management at all levels and build effective working relationships
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
