We are seeking a highly qualified, dedicated Compensation/Rewards Analyst to join our Compensation team in Lisle, IL. If this describes you, then there is a place for you at our table.
SUMMARY: The Compensation/Rewards Analyst contributes to the analysis and administration of the compensation programs of McCain Foods in North America as well as the analysis and administration of the U.S. retirement program for McCain Foods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the Compensation Manager in the areas of salary administration, incentive program administration, job evaluation, salary survey completion, competitive analysis and special projects.
Participate in policy and procedure development regarding compensation to continue North American alignment initiative. Lead process and system improvement initiatives to better facilitate accurate data, streamline work and provide effective North American process.
Coordinate annual Team Incentive Plan (TIP) program, to include collection of goals and results, creation of bonus award spreadsheets, summarization of bonus payout accruals, quarterly plant payouts, and payment distribution.
Assist Compensation Manager in management of domestic relocation program which includes liaising with the third party provider, legal, Human Resources, managers and employees.
Lead the annual and ad hoc salary survey process to ensure McCain programs are equitable, competitive and aligned to our business objectives.
Oversee Job Evaluation process for North America by collecting job descriptions, coordinating evaluation meetings, communicating the results.
Write, run and format system-generated compensation, reports utilizing the HRIS & Annual Compensation system. Review all report data for accuracy and format all report output (titles, headers, footers, page breaks, etc.) prior to distribution.
Assist in the Total Performance Cycle process which includes merit increases and incentive payouts, including validation and distribution of data to managers.US Retirement Program
Assist Benefits Manager in administration of Retirement Benefit Restoration Plan (Nonqualified retirement plan), including determining eligibility for the plan and coordinating the annual enrollment process for the plan.
Write, run and format system-generated compensation, reports utilizing the HRIS system. Review all report data for accuracy and formatting.
Coordinate annual audit and prepare financial statements, review and update internal controls as needed, review regular plan financial reporting, respond to questions and resolve discrepancies, provide data for reporting at global level, work with vendor to develop employee education campaigns and communication materials.
Identify opportunities to improve Total Rewards processes and programs, including preparing and analyzing regular management and audit reports and ensuring integrity of the HRIS and other systems.
Participate as a project team member/lead on various HR projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent combination of training and experience.
4+ years of compensation experience and 1+ years of benefits experience.
