KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs)
¨ Administers organizational benefits and benefit plans including communication of and promoting adherence to benefits policy and compliance
¨ Manage vendors to ensure services are delivered within contractual agreements
¨ Manage all benefits communications for wellness and retirement plans, and schedule frequent educational webinars/trainings
¨ Manage and administer executive and staff benefits
¨ Manage and facilitate the COBRA process
¨ Manage and facilitate the leave administration process
¨ Manage and facilitate the worker’s compensation process
¨ Manage and facilitate safety and OSHA compliance
¨ Manage Affirmative Action/EEO plans and initiatives and ensure compliance
¨ Implement, manage and administer the benefits portal for all carriers
¨ Work with vendors EDI teams to create file feeds
¨ Manage benefits audits and the filing of 5500’s for wellness and retirement plans
¨ Manage and update the employee, benefits and safety manuals
¨ Manage the HRIS database.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
¨ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
¨ SPHR, PHR, or other Human Resources certifications preferred.
¨ 6-8 years of progressive experience with Benefits or Human Resources, Healthcare industry preferred. Must be experienced with ERISA, TEFRA, COBRA, and HIPPA regulations.
¨ Knowledge of 401K Plan Administration/403B Plan Administration, Benefits Administration, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Leave Administration, Pension Plan Administration, OSHA Compliance, Safety Compliance, HR Compliance, Self-insured Medical Plan, and Affirmative Action Plan.
¨ Demonstrated experience and strong business acumen including budgeting and financial statements
¨ Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
¨ Computer/Software Skills: HRIS (Paylocity), Applicant Tracking, Web-based benefits portal, E-Verify
¨ Demonstrated high levels of initiative, innovation, and collaboration.
