Reporting into the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources, the Global Compensation Manager will plan and execute on Fortinet's end-to-end compensation function, from survey submissions and analysis through annual compensation programs such as annual merit, to ad hoc total rewards projects. This person will provide consultative technical expertise regarding Total Rewards to Executives, People Leaders, Talent Managers and Recruitment teams and will be a critical part of Fortinet's Human Resources Organization.
Participate in salary, equity, trends and practices surveys; conducting a thorough analysis to determine internal equity and external competitiveness for our global locations
Manage the enhancement and development of systems and tools to support the planning process & execution of the annual merit program
Conduct job mapping, benchmarking and structure administration to ensure appropriate leveling and salary bands for our internal total rewards structure
Lead the development, implementation, and administration, of new total rewards programs, such as incentive and bonus plans
Partner with Finance to model and forecasts for all compensation related programs
Provide support and counsel to global talent managers and people leaders regarding total rewards issues and proactively propose solutions
Participate in Executive Compensation review and partner with the Sales Compensation team to review the Total Rewards packages of the sales organization
5+ years of experience designing, managing and administering total rewards programs
Knowledge of compensation programs and practices outside of the US – global perspective
Analytical, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail combined with strong business acumen
Expert experience in Microsoft Excel
System design/administration experience in Oracle Fusion, SAP, PeopleSoft, or Workday Compensation modules are considered an asset
Strong communication skills and can effectively utilize data to build business cases
Degree in related field combined with equivalent industry expertise.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is considered an asset
Hands-on, professional interested in the challenge to advance the Total Rewards systems and philosophy as the business scales – individual contributor role
