ABOUT THE ROLE Trojan Battery Company is looking for a Compensation Analyst. This position will provide you with the opportunity to partner with a dynamic and analytical group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a high-growth environment. As the Compensation Analyst you will collaborate with the Director of Total Compensation and Rewards on a variety of projects, which may include program design, analysis, budgeting, implementation of new programs and stock reload. You will work to develop documents and procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work with the HRIS and IT staff to ensure that the HRIS software meets the compensation needs and is updated to reflect changed to salary structures, bonus programs, etc. To be successful you need to be someone with a passion for project plans and collaboration with multiple teams. Facilitate new hire, promotion and adjustment salary review requests and develop recommendations based on internal equity and current market data.
Serves as a compensation consultant to the Human Resources management team.
Assist with the development and administration of plan documents, training materials, process communications and automated tools related to compensation programs.
Complete special projects and studies as assigned which may include the redesign of existing compensation programs or the development of new programs.
Analyze external market data and conduct in-depth market studies to determine the company’s competitive positioning relative to industry peers.
Evaluate and assists in the design of salary structures and develop recommendations to ensure alignment with the company’s competitive stance.
Assist with the creation of new jobs including the review of job descriptions, benchmarking and salary structure slotting.
Administer merit and bonus annual compensation cycles, and quarterly commission cycle sign-off/load process.
Provide guidance to Human Resources and leadership on job family hierarchies the differences that exist between job levels.
Develop proactive approach to identify compensation issues and develops recommendations for review.
Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities tied to business processes.
Maintain compliance with hourly wage and FLSA compliance.
Follow standard operating process, system procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
2-4 years of experience in a Human Resource position supporting Compensation, Benefits, HR Systems and/or HR Operations.
A degree in business administration, finance, or another quantitative field is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
