Assists the Lead Compensation Consultant with the analysis and administration of a wide range of compensation projects and activities. Specific project work includes base salary administration, short and long-term incentives, performance management, benchmarking and survey analysis, job evaluation and pricing.
Assists in the implementation and administration of compensation and incentive programs across the organization.
Uses external market data and internal comparables to conduct market pricing analyses and job pricing for the organization and recommend changes to the company’s compensation plans.
Conducts ad hoc pay surveys and participates in salary surveys conducted by third parties.
Studies labor markets to determine compensation trends.
Works with HRIS to ensure that all systems (job tables, salary range tables, location tables, etc.) meet Compensation’s needs and are updated as needed.
Utilizes and maintains compensation-related tools (MarketPay, ERI, etc.) to ensure the accuracy of job pricing data.
Establishes strong relationships with HR and other company business partners to collect company performance data.
Works closely with remote location and HR to administer compensation processes.
Collaborates with management on requests for compensation-related issues.
Develops and documents procedures to ensure compliance.
Prepares and distributes communications related to compensation programs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

JOB FAMILY LEVEL
Intermediate level professional. Under general supervision, conducts analyses of jobs, base pay and incentives to evaluate internal equity and external competitiveness. Reviews salary increases for compliance with the organization’s practices. Has a strong analytical and research background and be comfortable managing and analyzing large volumes of data. Must have strong Excel skills to manipulate data and formulate cells within spreadsheets (i.e., use V-lookups to join multiple types of data) and then draw conclusions from the data. Assists with the development and implementation of a performance management program. Partners with other members of the team to participate in annual salary surveys. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with team members, other members of HR and business partners. Typically requires four (4) years of experience working in a compensation environment and two (2) years of experience working with a market pricing tool (MarketPay, ePRISM).
