Our HR Services & Analytics team is growing and we’re looking for an Analyst to focus on Compensation and People Analytics. This team is responsible for delivering business efficiencies and solutions through integrated and well managed systems, processes and programs.
As we prepare for the introduction of Workday in mid-2018, the Analyst, Compensation & Analytics will play a lead role in the testing and implementation of HCM functionality with a focus on Compensation and Reporting. On an ongoing basis, this role is responsible for the administration, reporting and design of compensation programs to support employees of Loews Corporation.
Among other duties, this role will: • Manage all compensation administration, both routine and on-demand; • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive positioning, • Assist in the identification of key performance indicators to shape the development and delivery of meaningful analytics to the business, • Assist in the development and rollout of job architecture, • Produce on-demand self-service dashboards and periodic reports. • Partner with HRBP to formulate internal and external offers, • Maintain compensation-related system requirements (e.g. grade and salary structures), • Establish and implement data integrity strategies, • Set standards for developing reports and distribution methods, • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, • Oversee testing of new reports and system functionality, and • Partner with IT to ensure interfaces are developed and implemented.
To be considered, candidates should have practical experience with a track record that demonstrates a: • Knack for numbers; • Creative analytical and problem-solving ability, • Talent for storytelling through qualitative and quantitative data analytics, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and HCM technology, • Strong understanding of leading-edge compensation theory and practices, • Large company mindset, adjusted to a “small” corporate environment, • Foundation of technical education or certification is considered a plus as would be experience as an administrator in Workday.
