The primary purpose of the Compensation Consultant is to assist with the design, development and administration of base salary and incentive compensation programs to support organizational objectives, fit organizational culture and facilitate attracting, retaining and rewarding high-performing employees. This also includes responsibility for continual process improvement in the use of existing compensation technology and development of improved methods.
Conducts job audits and evaluations.
Evaluates market data/trends and conducts job analysis to slot jobs.
Leads or participates in project initiatives involved in compensation program development.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and regulatory standards and laws governing the compensation program.
Required Work Experience:
Three years of compensation analysis experience, to include market pricing, job analysis and/or salary survey participation.
Five years of compensation experience.
Certified Compensation Professional.
Microsoft Excel proficient.
Prior HCM experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational, customer-service and presentation skills.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strong math skills.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
Working knowledge of compensation systems, planning and wage and hour laws.
Working knowledge of FLSA exemption classifications and job evaluation methodologies.
Working knowledge of principles of wage and salary administration, along with market pricing.
Demonstrated experience presenting recommendations to management, up to and including senior management.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience creating pivot tables and formulas.
