Eskenazi Health has an exciting career opportunity available within the Human Resources Department, Compensation Team, for a Compensation Analyst. We are seeking a strategic business partner to join our team to serve as a key resource for the Eskenazi Health’s salary program. The Compensation Analyst works closely with HRIS to ensure compensation related actions are updated and appropriately reflected in the SAP database and serves as an information source regarding pay practices and policies. The qualified candidate provides advice to managers/directors on new or non-routine compensation decisions for employees, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Compensation Analyst:
Updates grade matrix and ensure job descriptions are updated with any changes to positions, new positions that result in new grade or change in grade
Evaluates market survey data to recommend range adjustments for salary structure and individual job rates as requested.
Conducts compensation activities including job evaluation, market pay analysis, internal equity analysis, data audits and analysis, implementation, and assists with communication strategies.
Ensures compensation programs and job classifications comply with applicable wage and hour laws.
Identify and recommend improvements and efficiencies around compensation processes and programs.
Advise on appropriate salary placement for new hires and promotion
Successful applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with a minimum of three years' human resources experience. Five years of progressively responsible experience in compensation management; preferably in healthcare, may be accepted in lieu of education.
The qualified candidate will have;
Market pricing and survey submission experience, strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel required
