Videojet Technologies is currently seeking a Manager, Compensation & Systems, to join our team in Wood Dale, Illinois (Chicago suburbs).
Under direction of the Director Compensation, Benefits & HR Systems for, the Compensation & Systems Manager will work closely with the HR leadership team and HR Managers globally to assist with the attraction and retention of talent within the Product ID Platform of Danaher. This position will serve as subject matter expert in the areas of compensation, systems, and the global career & rewards framework (“GCRF”).
Perform benchmarking and market analysis of positions and prepare one over one approval documentation as needed. Participate in external benchmarking surveys as required.
Manage the annual compensation planning process at Videojet to include performance-related salary increases, incentive compensation payments and annual equity grants. Partner with HRMS team to ensure salary changes and/or incentive compensation plan participant data is accurately reflected in HRMS systems.
Maintain the corporate compensation database to ensure accurate and timely updates to data related to incentive compensation and equity nominations.
In conjunction with Danaher’s corporate compensation team, manage the planned corporate GCRF framework within the Platform, including ongoing maintenance of the structure as necessary. Perform impact analysis of current compensation mapped into new structure and provide recommendations to remedy discrepancies.
Assist with implementation of Workday HCM as it relates to Compensation, including change management and training managers in understanding the compensation module.
Work with Payroll Manager to administer ADP’s eTIME TLM system to ensure compliance with company policy and with state and federal legislation related to hours worked and paid time off.
Assist with global mobility of associates as necessary with preparation of localization agreements, secondment agreements, short- and long-term assignments. Work with 3rdparty vendors (CapRelo, Deloitte, PWC, AIRINC, Mercer, VisaNow) to facilitate timely and compliant movement across borders.
Other Compensation and/or systems related tasks as needed.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Finance, or closely related field or equivalent work experience in human resources. Master’s Degree Preferred.
5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in area of HR, particularly related to compensation.
Familiarity of HR Management Systems, working knowledge of Oracle HRMS and/or Workday preferred.
Global experience required.
Experience with sales incentive plans desired.
CCP certification required.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
