The Sr. HRIS Analyst is responsible for general transactions, configuration, maintenance, and reporting in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other applications. Support includes issue analysis and resolution, table configuration, and mass data updates. Inputs, audits, and maintains employment and other information available in the Company’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation including training clients on new processes and functionality.
Production Support: Provide technical support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, process flaws or test errors; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Test Ultipro modifications/new functionality and document results.
Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports, queries and dashboards utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard and business intelligence reports for ongoing customer needs. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Projects/Process Improvement: Recommend process/ improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll). Use project management skills in managing projects.
System Maintenance: Lead the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRIS system tables. Document process and results.
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Human Resources or related field
5 years related experience in HR systems; or equivalent HRIS training/education
Knowledge of HR and Payroll processes and terminology
Proficiency in HRIS systems and UltiPro or Workday preferred
HRIS Analyst experience; system configuration, enhancements, testing and strong skills related to MS applications (Excel, Word, Access)
Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. Highly focused attention to detail; vigilant in data analysis to arrive at correct conclusions
Analyze HC and Payroll processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology; oversees the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for HRIS system users to ensure efficient business processes
Resolves HRIS system issues, acts as “troubleshooter” for HC and Payroll, works with IT department closely
