To provide support and guidance to the superintendent and school personnel on school district matters, as well as to provide overall management for the district’s human resources department.
Required: Prior Collective Bargaining or extensive administrative experience; Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form. Extensive administrative experience in Human Resources.
Desired: Experience in school administration.
Oversees all functions of HR, including talent recruitment, HRIS functions and maintenance for the district.
Serve as spokesperson in collective bargaining and discussion with representatives of employee groups.
Prepare for collective bargaining by obtaining information by conducting wage surveys and including information on a regular basis from all members of the management team.
Coordinate the administration of any employee discipline, including elements of progressive discipline.
Oversees policy and regulations in the hiring, suspension and/or termination of employees.
Knowledgeable of all federal, state and local laws which affect district personnel.
