Position will support CBOE’s HRIS and compensation programs. In this multi-faceted role, in addition to day-to-day responsibilities, the role will utilize management, technical, analytical, consultative and interpersonal skills to interface with both internal and external customers.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participate in or lead implementations of new HRIS modules and functionality. Identify and implement HRIS enhancements such as employee and manager self-service functionality and workflows.
Identify opportunities for automation via data feeds to vendors or other methods. Serve as the liaison with vendors on technical and support inquiries. Review system upgrades and upcoming functionality, analyze and recommend new features.
Serve as subject matter expert for HRIS and reporting capabilities. Partner with HR team to define requirements for and design HRIS reports to support HR analytics, provide audit support and enhance self-service. Create ad-hoc reports.
Ensure data integrity through regular data validations, correcting and organizing data to upload into the HR system as needed. Implement new functionality or upgrades.
Conduct competitive analysis of all elements of total compensation relative to the market and to the organization’s specific circumstances, recommend and implement changes to structures or programs.
Assist in the design of performance measurement and targets to support short and long term incentive programs and to align employee compensation with the shareholders expectations. May also assist with design of other sales related incentive programs.
Assist with the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee and Board of Director meetings.
Support the compensation broad based program through creating job descriptions, conducting market analysis and providing consultation to managers. Represent the HRIS and compensation function in the annual performance management process.
Provide counsel and guidance to other team members as needed regarding HRIS and communication delivery.
Contribute to overall HR team effort in delivering high quality service and projects. Make recommendations to improve processes and efficiency. Assist with coordination of and/or lead efforts for a wide variety of ongoing or annual HR projects
Create and implement strategic, multi-faceted communications programs related to HRIS/compensation/HR initiatives designed to build and strengthen CBOE’s culture.
5 plus years of experience in the areas of HRIS and compensation.
Advanced technical proficiencies in HRIS functionality, report writing and Excel. Proficiencies should also include the ability to identify, assess, synthesize and implement opportunities for automation.
Experience with Ultimate Software, Workday or Oracle HR systems is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree (related disciplines such as Business, Math, Economics, Accounting Finance, and Statistics).
Master’s degree and CCP certification a plus.

Ability and proven experience to read and interpret documents (i.e. proxies, plan documents, etc.) and/or technical regulations and being able to communicate this knowledge verbally or in a written summary.
