Under the direction of the Director, Compensation and Benefits, the Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for ensuring that employee compensation packages support business strategies. This role provides sophisticated internal analytical expertise and consulting services related to the compensation function. This role is required to develop partnerships within the organization to fully understand business needs.
Works on a variety of projects as assigned in support of MHS compensation programs, including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of programs, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Evaluates new/existing positions to ensure consistency with company goals and objectives using established evaluation process and market resources, ensureing internal equity and external competitiveness. Captures/analyzes market pricing information, recommends salary grade, incentive eligibility, job title, offer parameters, FLSA status, etc.
Responsible for salary survey participation.
Maintains compensation database.
Helps maintain "current" and "historical" job description database.
Responsible for Ad Hoc Reporting and Project Management as assigned to support the HR department system's needs.
Responsible for various reporting requirements (e.g. Form 5500), as well as compliance with ERISA and assisting with outside auduts as well as other regularory filings and request for information.
Assist with payroll audits.
6-8 years of experience in HR, specifically with compensation, HRIS, payroll and preferably in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of government regulations, professional "best practices", and industry trends as they apply to all HR related functions and responsibilities.
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft business applications software, compensation software packages, and HRIS systems - Google and Lawson preferred.
Experience in conducting studies and preparing sound recommendations.
