Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compensation, the Sr. Analyst, Compensation will support the design, development and administration of the company’s executive and non-executive compensation programs. As a member of the compensation team, he/she will ensure that the company’s compensation processes and programs are market competitive, cost-effective, performance-oriented, and most importantly, support the company’s business strategy. This role is highly visible across the company and frequently interacts with business leaders. Successful candidate must be able to lead multiple projects independently and effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
Knowledge, understanding and application of Federal and State employment laws/FLSA required. Strong understanding of business finance, accounting and HR productivity measures. Relevant experience working with Oracle, ADP systems, and Microsoft Office (advanced skills in Excel).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Counsels and partners with business leaders, HR leaders, and HR staff on all compensation matters including employment offers, program design, budgeting, and implementation of new programs
Serve as project manager for team’s IT and data solutions, maintaining data integrity while leading reporting efforts
Participate in the design, administration, and communication of all aspects of company’s compensation programs including base salary, annual incentives and long-term incentives, frequently serving as project manager for key initiatives
Partner with supervisor and colleagues to prepare Compensation Committee or senior management presentations, market studies, and proxy analyses
Support the administration of salary budgets, annual incentives and equity compensation plans
Conduct job evaluations of new and revised positions using methods such as market pricing and job slotting
Design and maintain pay structures
Manage job architecture
Complete compensation benchmarking surveys and analyze results to determine competitive compensation levels using market pricing techniques for each element of compensation
Research industry best practices and market conditions to determine effectiveness, competitiveness, and cost of existing compensation programs
Analyze company compensation policies within comparable industries or geographic areas, and recommend changes as appropriate to establish and maintain competitive pay rates while ensuring internal equity
Assist with development of policies, procedures and systems to support compensation programs and ensures all programs are in compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards
Partner with accounting, legal, and tax departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, in compliance with applicable tax laws
Ensure reward and/or incentive systems are in alignment with organizational culture, strategy and operational objectives
Assist annual budget development process
Independently lead or assist with special projects or other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required. MBA is preferred.
Experience: 5+ years’ experience in compensation or HR with functional knowledge of compensation concepts, systems, and administration. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth global organization is ideal.
Strong experience and knowledge of compensation concepts including FLSA regulations, base salary administration, market surveys for competitive benchmarking and grade structures, job evaluation and pricing techniques, incentive pay design and administration, executive compensation, and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated success as project manager, with solid analytical and data analysis capabilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Ability to resolve compensation issues and communicate observations effectively both verbally and in writing to management and all levels of staff, consistently demonstrating maturity to handle sensitive information
Self-starter who strives for results, with proven ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as a member of a team, managing projects efficiently from start to finish
Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment that requires proactivity and the exercise of good judgment to successfully prioritize and manage complex projects concurrently
Ability to analyze relevant financial performance information for correlation to compensation using statistics and other analytical methods
Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) required to build ad-hoc reports and executive presentations from raw data. Experience with Oracle Fusion and MarketPay a plus.
