WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a Compensation Consultant at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Supporting the design and development of the total rewards program strategy as it relates to compensation and recognition
Implementing the Kellogg North America compensation strategy working with the Global Business Service Center, HR Business leadership and Business Unit Leadership
Conducting research of compensation best practices, monitoring legal developments, evaluating emerging trends, keeping appraised of technological advancements and conducting benchmark comparisons
Evaluating effectiveness of North America compensation programs
Developing and managing project plans in support of compensation programs
Supporting the implementation of global policies, processes, practices and tools related to compensation and recognition
Serving as a subject matter expert and reviewer during the development and distribution of communication materials
Monitoring, revising, and updating compensation related policies
Remaining current on country, state and local compensation legislation changes and adjusting programs as necessary
Supporting high level vendor management activities as needed (e.g. validation of compliance with service level agreements)
Conducting due diligence and research of choosing a vendor to align with strategy/business need
Handling vendor escalations and vendor contract negotiations
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE? As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Human Resources, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Business Administration
Significant experience in compensation program design and development
Demonstrated knowledge and application of compensation theory, concepts, or practices
Demonstrated competence in analytics
Curiosity to think creatively, learn quickly, skilled problem solver, and build efficient solutions
High level project management competency and experience
Experience managing global compensation planning systems
Business and financial acumen
Effective communication skills
High proficiency with Microsoft office suite, particularly ExcelPreferred:Master's degree or International Equivalent
