Loyola University Maryland’s HR department is searching for a director of compensation and operations. The director is responsible for overall management, design, communication, administration and compliance of the university’s staff and administrator compensation plan. He or she will also oversee the HRIS unit to ensure operating efficiencies, data integrity, and support of management reports.
This person will manage compensation initiatives that balance industry best practices, higher education culture, competitive information, and compliance with state and federal regulations. He or she will align compensation plans and programs with university objectives. The director will be accountable for the staff and administrator compensation and classification system, ensuring appropriate salary structures, job classification, policies, procedures, position control and budgeting, equitable pay practices, and survey initiatives. The director will oversee the HRIS unit, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay, benefits and demographic data, and operational efficiencies in the HR department. He or she will also oversee the annual performance review and merit cycle, survey requests, and support of management report requests.
