Description
The Manager of Total Rewards is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This role supports total rewards strategies ensuring they are competitive, equitable, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives and company culture.
Requirements
Compensation:
- Design, administer, and evolve compensation programs including base pay, incentive plans, and financial benefit plans
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices
- Partner with HR and business leaders on job architecture, salary structures, and pay governance
- Support annual compensation cycles including merit, bonus, and promotion processes
- Ensure compliance with pay transparency, equal pay, and other regulatory requirements
Benefits:
- Manage employee benefits programs (health, wellness, retirement, leave, and ancillary benefits)
- Partner with brokers and vendors to evaluate plan performance, costs, and employee expereince
- Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes
- Monitor benefits trends and recommend enhancements based on workforce needs
Total Rewards:
- StrategyResearch and recommend a holistic total regards strategy aligned with business goals and talent strategy
- Analyze workforce and rewards data to assess program effectiveness and ROI
- Partner with MGR, Communication to create clear and compelling total rewards communication and drive employee understanding and engagement
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Maintain policies, documentation, and internal controls related to total rewards programs.
- Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the HR Department and senior leaders on rewards related matters.
- Manage and develop direct reports
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- 5-7 years
- In compensation, benefits, and total rewards.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and best practices
- The ability to manager a fast paced, dynamic team within a growing company
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A strong partnership with HRIS/Payroll peers
- Expereince supporting multiple state or global workforces
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
- Preferred: CCP, CBP, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, CEBS, or similar certification
