Works on high-priority analytical projects and initiatives, including broad-based compensation, job design and grading, executive compensation, business transformations, benchmarking, and annual compensation processes in support of the University's total rewards strategy. Conducts complex quantitative analyses while managing multi-stakeholder project plans. JOB DUTIES:
Base Pay Operations: 30% - Essential Perform job analysis and evaluation, market pricing/competitive pay analysis, and consultation on base pay, incentive/bonus, and total cash compensation. Executive Compensation support. Assist with pay structure design, merit budget/salary planning design, variable pay design and analysis. Evaluates positions as needed or as part of reorganizations/consolidations.
Survey Administration and Job Description Maintenance: 20% - Essential Maintain a database of compensation surveys and complete survey participation data submissions to survey providers on an annual basis. Collect and analyze surveys results, and prepare reports, charts and graphs summarizing the data utilizing the University's salary survey tool (Payfactors). Manage database of job descriptions, assist with creation of salary structure frameworks, job architecture and descriptions, and manages year-end bonus and merit processes.
Compliance: 20% - Essential Review and Audit HRIS data to ensure records accuracy and reflect changes to job content, job structures and compensation data. . Analyzing proposed actions for compliance with guidelines, standards and equity, and state regulations and reconciling related irregular or problematic personnel actions.
Finance and Analytics: 15% - Essential Retrieve data from HRIS and other systems to complete analysis on existing compensation plans and financial/non-financial metrics that drive and influence the plans. Present recommendations and opportunities for improvement.
Strategy and Partnering: 15% - Essential Interact with other HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), HR Service Center and HR Strategic Consultants by participating on committees or teams on initiatives related to the overall human resources function. Work with HRIS to align, integrate, and automate compensation processes. Assist with the management of 3rd party compensation vendors and in the development and delivery of training/communications on compensation programs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
