The Total Compensation Specialist will work with the Total Compensation team to deliver customer service, education and projects to the Human Services Department, to help attract and retain talent.
Applies the Total Compensation Philosophy consistently to all projects
Reviews job descriptions to conduct job analysis, evaluations and classifications
Use various methods and techniques to make data based recommendations on compensation, benefits & wellness
Deploys effective communication strategies and training for roll out of compensation and benefit changes
Conducts audits of compensation, benefits and HRIS Data Entry
Ensures that compensation, benefits and HR data practices are in compliance with current legislation
Assess employees needs to find out what motivates and engages employees
Participates in the Annual Market Analysis and Total Compensation Preparations
Presents Open Enrollment Presentations and hosts annual Benefits Fair and Flu Shot Clinics
Hosts Nurse Consults for Wellness Counts and works with the Human Services Wellness Coordinator to deliver wellness opportunities to the department
Originates PAFs for Human Services
Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis processes
Prior experience with Compensation and Benefit Enrollment cycle administration
Proven knowledge of current compliance requirements and regulations
Familiarity with base compensation practices, various benefits and HRIS systems
Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience

Three to five (3 - 5) years of benefits experience
Open Enrollment experience
Work is generally confined to a standard office environment.
Work location will be split between two offices. Three (3) days in Aurora (CenterPoint) and two (2) days in Littleton (ADMIN).
This position requires successful completion of pre-employment background and motor vehicle checks.
