Kamehameha Schools (KS) has a Director, Compensation and Benefits position available at our Kawaiahao Plaza office located in Honolulu.
Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or closely related field.
Summary of Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of professional level, progressively responsible related HR experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager or director.
Demonstrated ability to serves as a trusted advisor and thought partner to executives and senior leaders.
Knowledge of HR functions (organizational development, talent/succession management, executive counseling/coaching, employee/labor relations, leadership development, performance management, workforce planning and development, HR metrics, Wellness, HR Shared Services) that drive effective and efficient Human Resources service delivery.
Summary of Duties:
Provides strategic leadership, vision, change management (including change communications), stakeholder engagement, planning and execution for leading and directing organization-wide HR Total Rewards program and initiatives paramount to supporting and achieving strategic goals for HR and the larger Kamehameha Schools (KS) organization.
Utilizes business and functional expertise, an understanding of the organization's strategy and capabilities, business knowledge and other critical external factors and a focus on mission to guide the development, execution and evolution of an HR and Total Rewards strategy consistent with short and long-term organizational needs and business objectives.
Collaborates with HR leadership team in the development of annual HR goals and objectives that align with organizational strategies.
Provides thought leadership, technical expertise and consulting support to organizational leaders and their staff on HR decisions, compensation and benefit decisions, including policy and guideline interpretation.
Builds strong, motivate, high performing, diverse teams and takes personal responsibility to develop talent for the organization.
Creates critical work environment success factors that encourages and enables employees to work, learn and develop solutions together.
Strategically builds relationships and engages key internal and external stakeholders to receive input, understand perspectives and then effectively bring diverse points of view together.
Works collaboratively to shape the business strategy by understand the business context and strategy including external economic, social technological, regulatory, market, industry and competitive forces.
