Provides support to General Dynamics Corporate Headquarters Compensation department by preparing and analyzing compensation data, inputting, extracting, and analyzing benchmark data, developing reports to track vital information and assisting with compensation and related programs.
Uses Microsoft Excel, Access, or other compensation databases to manage data and provide critical analysis
Ability to create spreadsheets for use by end users/business partners
Prepares and analyzes internal and external Compensation data, summarizing findings and making recommendations as appropriate
Works with consultants and provides guidance to ensure deliverables meet expectations
Supports annual survey participation, including the timely reporting and submission of data, data review, and reporting of survey results
Supports the administration of the General Dynamics Stock Plan and is proficient to answer equity related questions from employees and other stakeholders
Facilitates collection of data required for disclosure in the company’s annual proxy statement
Provides assistance for the annual merit and incentive process, including the creation of all necessary reports to support administration of these programs.
Provides data analysis to other Human Resource departments as necessary
Applies continuous improvement initiatives to support the overall business strategy
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Certifications:
BS/BA degree in Business Administration, a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience to necessary to perform the essential functions of the job
Experience working with Executive Compensation
Master's degree preferred
A minimum of five (5) years prior analytical analysis experience required with a preference for Compensation experience
Excellent skills using Microsoft Excel are required
Experience in data management/analysis required
Must be fully proficient in MS Office Suite including PowerPoint
Superior attention to detail and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
Ability to work effectively with and communicate compensation analyses to people at all levels, including corporate executives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work with little direction and handle multiple tasks successfully and simultaneously
Strong financial acumen preferred
Experience with PeopleSoft and SuccessFactors preferred
