Compensation & HR Systems Analyst
Ensures the effective data integration, administration, and maintenance of multiple HR information systems and technology platforms. Assists in system implementations and enhancement projects. Partners with end users to effectively leverage HRIS capabilities including streamlining and improving existing business processes. Creates and maintains of system process and relevant procedures documentation. Conducts routine audits to determine accuracy and consistency of data and business processes. Supports Compensation programs including: program design, job evaluations, survey participation and implementation of new programs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provides analytical, systems and administrative support for the development, implementation and administration of the association’s compensation programs and systems.
Conducts job evaluations of new or revised job descriptions including determination of FLSA status and salary structure assignment through the preparation of market pricing analyses and through participation in compensation surveys.
Works with the Senior Manager, Compensation managing the administration of short/long term incentive plans; with establishing, monitoring and auditing pay procedures; and ensures compliance with the Association’s salary administration policies and procedures.
Serves as internal consultant to line management in interpreting wage and salary laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Ensures data accuracy across multiple HRIS platforms including but not limited to: Oracle R12 (iRecruit, Core, Compensation Workbench), ADP Workforce Now, Cornerstone, Jibe, MarketPay, Higher Logic, and OrgPublisher. Collaborates with HR team members to perform various audits to verify and ensure accuracy and consistency of data entry and our source HRIS system. Partners with end users to effectively leverage the Association’s HRIS capabilities including, but not limited to, streamlining and improving existing business processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Systems or relevant education. Master’s degree preferred. CCP, SHRM and HRCI certifications desired.
5 – 7 years of experience of compensation administration and HRIS systems management is required.
Experience working with/supporting a variety of HR functions is preferred. Experience with MarketPay, Oracle Compensation Workbench (Oracle HRIS R12), ADP Workforce NOW and technical experience with Manager and Employee Self Service support is strongly preferred.
Requires advance skills in MS Excel and MS Access; strong MS Word and SharePoint experience is needed. Experience with reporting applications, which includes developing, creating and responding to report requests is required.
Ability to articulate and document business requirements that translate to system functionality.
Knowledge of HR programs and policies along with a commitment to HR principles of confidentiality.
