We have a rare opportunity for a talented Senior Manager, U.S. M&A and Compensation to be based in E. Hartford, CT and join our Total Rewards department.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards and will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams and executing a wide range of strategic activities, including, but not limited to, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. You will liaison with global and domestic compensation and benefits teams to execute on the HR integration activities including compensation, benefits, HR operations and technology, HR strategy, Talent and Culture and the broader enterprise-wide integration efforts including change management, organization design and workforce transition. You will work to identify and mitigate potential risks and develop an end-state vision and strategy in order to maximize value realization opportunities. Other responsibilities include: serving as compensation lead for various HR total rewards projects and initiatives, as needed
Bachelor Degree with at least 10 years of experience in a compensation role or Master's Degree with 7+ years of experience in a compensation role
US Citizen (due to program requirements)
Advanced experience interacting with all parties associated with a deal setting (e.g. legal team, finance, other 3rd party advisors, etc.)
Pre-deal M&A activities and the ability to interact with a potential target’s management team
Post-deal M&A integration activities including leading prior acquisition integration activities for the human resources and total rewards function
Experience with financial analysis and reporting, market analysis and gathering competitive intelligence, particularly in relation to M&A activity
Implementing total rewards programs and communication philosophy and training to acquired employee populations
Strong analytical and technical skills and ability to critically review, summarize, and report findings
Work with highly sensitive and confidential material and sound business judgment
Previous experience with Workday software system
Initiative, creativity, along with the ability to craft clear communications both written and verbally
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Creative troubleshooting skills
Possess excellent judgment and professional maturity
