HR Business Partner You will ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of employment and employee relations. This role provides support and guidance to client leaders in order to effectively manage the people function from sourcing, development and recognition through the exit process. We will rely on you for improving the level of service and performance of the HR function to achieve and maintain employer of choice status, as well as maintain liaison relationships between employees and managers to facilitate the resolution of employee issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 5-8 years of recent Human Resources experience
Experience with multiple HR disciplines such as employee relations, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, performance management and staffing
Familiarity with HR best practices in the areas of recruitment, remuneration and benefits, and training and development
Proven experience executing organizational change programs as delegated by senior HR management
Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal requirements
Microsoft Office proficiency
Healthcare union environment preferred
Senior HR Business Partner You will work in collaboration with leaders, key stakeholders and HR colleagues to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions in line with the needs and priorities of the institution. This role will advise, guide and support the Executive Board and managers in providing high-level people management and development support on employment matters; identify HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translate business requirements into effective HR practices and deliver solutions aligned to business objectives; and deliver key initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management.
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 10 years of recent Human Resources experience
Strong record of accomplishment in developing and implementing HR strategy and policy
Experience working in partnership with a range of stakeholders, including managers, trade unions, employees and external partners
Track record of managing and improving employee relations in a unionized environment
Experience managing conflict and sensitive issues and achieving positive outcomes
Experience developing workforce plans that reflect organizational/departmental need
Experience leading and shaping the work of others from different professional backgrounds to achieve organizational priorities
