As the Manager, Compensation you will provide strategic leadership for the compensation function by leading people, coordinating projects, ensuring organizational effectiveness and focusing on high-quality, reliable customer service as part of a new center of excellence within the Total Rewards & Shared Services team. You will also be responsible for the design, development and execution of a compensation strategy that aligns both with the Company’s strategic business and talent goals. What you'll be doing:
Team Development and Leadership by ensuring team members are knowledgeable of systems, policies, processes and resources and providing an environment that supports teamwork, drives strong performance and delivery of objectives, and encourages individual growth.
Budget and Resource Management by utilizing knowledge of internal budgeting processes to anticipate resource needs, track expenses, approve invoices, and research variances, and determining appropriate staffing levels to maximize business results.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management by developing a strong working relationships with all areas of Human Resources to understand business needs, ensuring participation in shaping policy, initiatives and processes by relevant constituents, monitoring vendor effectiveness and cultivating partnerships.
Collaboration with HR Strategic Advisors and Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective and consistent implementation, adoption and application of the Company’s compensation philosophy, salary bands and position leveling.
Process Design, Management and Improvement by ensuring processes are up-to-date, documented and designed to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements and ensures a high degree of efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-functional Human Resource Leadership by leading and executing team projects that support either functional initiatives or broader HR objectives, understanding the required deliverables and the impact on the HR systems as a whole by serving as a role model to drive change through effective communication, partnering across HR functional areas, focusing on the voice of the customer and seeking opportunities for improvement.
Competitive and Creative Offerings by maintaining an understanding of the competitive market and legal environment, relating to compensation programs and ensuring the development and implementation of effective strategies to guide short and long term planning.
Ideal candidate will possess:
5 years progressively responsible experience within a compensation function.
Minimum of 2 years experience in large-scale project management.
Comprehensive knowledge of best practices, future trends, and the competitive market place and a demonstrated history of driving change to influence business outcomes.
Minimum of 2 years of management experience or as a Compensation Lead
Also great to have:
Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business Management, Finance, or Human Resources.
Previous experience in Benefits administration.
Experience with Workday or similar HRIS configuration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, strong people management skills, strong critical and conceptual thinking and a results oriented approach to business.
