This role will support key compensation and benefit processes and will have primary responsibility for market pricing jobs grade level 13 and below, completing salary surveys, administering market data in the WTW comp system and administering reward and recognition programs. To provide better back-up and coverage in Benefits, this role will also job share key administrative responsibilities with the Benefit Analyst including bill reconciliation, auditing files and creating reports. Given the collaborative nature of the work in Total Rewards, this role will also work closely with the Total Reward Managers, Managing Director, and other stakeholders as part of ongoing projects such as Open Enrollment and Comp Planning as well as specific focus areas such as process improvement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working with HRBP and Talent Acquisition, use market data to determine appropriate market base salary and bonus for SB1-SB3 and GL 11- GL13 jobs and make base salary recommendations for promotions and/or new hires. Provide BCBSA data to survey providers and audit/load market data from vendors including Mercer, Aon, and Radford. Serve as backup to Manager, Compensation on market pricing for GL14+ jobs.
On an alternating week or month basis, job share benefits administrative processes with the Benefit Analyst. Specific responsibilities include payroll file reconciliation, benefits billing, benefits expense reporting, billing for retiree, COBRA, and LTD benefits, short-term disability reporting, and workers’ compensation reporting.
Administers all rewards and recognition programs including Woolworth, Presidents, Leap and Values award working closely with Meeting Planning and communications to coordinate events and appropriate messaging to executives, winners and broader employee population.
Review total rewards processes on a regular basis and make recommendations to improve customer experience, improve efficiency and reduce costs. Create thorough documentation of all total rewards processes and procedures and update as changes are made.
Support annual Total Rewards projects including Open Enrollment, Compensation Planning and Be HIP.
Required Basic Qualifications:
Superior Excel skills and expertise in MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
At least 1 year in a corporate business or corporate HR/benefits environment
4 year college degree
Preferred Basic Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a benefits role administering benefit plans and programs
Background in the documentation of processes and procedures
Ability to innovate and streamline processes and address redundancies
