The Compensation Analyst is the subject matter expert for salary and incentive programs and supports other compensation issues/questions.
Participating in and/or leading compensation projects at the direction of HR Leadership, including salary surveys, analysis, compensation system design and budgeting, implementation of bonus or other new programs.
Administering base pay and bonus programs, including annual performance reviews and bonus cycles for Corporate Staff and monitoring review process for affiliate locations.
Reviewing new positions in anticipation of recruitment to ensure appropriate classification. Based on position-specific information, determines if an existing description can be used for classification. As necessary, modifies and creates new descriptions which accurately reflect current roles, responsibilities and requirements.
Managing projects such as survey participation and analysis and compensation programs.
Developing and documenting procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinates with HR managers to educate managers.
Working with HRIS and IT staff to ensure that the (HRIS software) system meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, etc.
Assisting Facility CAOs and HR leadership managers with compensation-related issues.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree along with 3-5 years of experience in the analysis, design and /or administration of compensation programs.
Advanced oral, listening, administrative and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, management and third parties
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead projects from onset to completion.
Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
