We seek two full-time Consultants to join our Performance & Rewards Practice. Once position is in our Phoenix (Tempe), Arizona office. The second position is open to Chicago or New York. The consultant will participate in and manage Executive and Employee Compensation projects, performance management redesigns, and related topics.

• The Consultant position is deeply involved in a wide range of assignments including work with broad employee populations of our clients or executive groups.
• Our client teams and project experiences involve extensive client-facing opportunities during the assessment, design, development, and implementation of new or improved programs for clients.
• The Consultant must demonstrate leadership qualities through effective management of project staff, schedules and budget. It is also important to manage client resources through ability to apply understanding of the clients' business strategy and performance drivers to the development of human capital solutions. Immediate opportunity exists for contributing to diagnosis, problem solving and solution development.

The Role

Working under the guidance of a Client Relationship Manager or Senior Consultant, but with significant independence, the individual will participate in the design and implementation of human capital programs and processes in client organizations that will include (but not be limited to): performance management, organization and job design, and other people strategies. Specifically, the Consultant will draft proposals, develop project plans and create solutions for clients. The Consultant will manage multiple consulting projects at a time, and serve as a key and, possibly, lead client contact on a day-to-day basis. In addition to sustaining effective advisory rapport with clients, the Consultant will also provide guidance to junior staff members to include delegating and reviewing work quality and outcomes and, mentoring/coaching for developmental purposes. Success in the role is measured by quality for clients, contributions to the firm’s intellectual capital and culture, and financial responsibility in terms of consulting utilization and project budget management.
