The Compensation Analyst conducts salary analysis, job evaluation and provides consultative services in support of UCLA Health. They evaluate and determine the appropriate job classification and salary range for a wide variety of staff and management positions. Additionally, they support the department by conducting large scale market evaluation and benchmarking, cost analysis and forecasting, and participating in various salary surveys.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
Minimum 4 years of HR experience
Comprehensive knowledge of compensation and job evaluation theories, practices and systems; applicable wage and hour laws and regulations.
Strong knowledge of salary survey methodologies and market analysis.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to manage large data sets, create pivot tables and conduct vlookup.
Ability to conduct statistical analysis including computing mean, median, weighted average, mode.
Excellent interpersonal communications and collaboration skills to work with a variety of clients, employees and colleagues.
Certified Compensation Professional certification preferred.
