This position is responsible for the administration and maintenance of compensation programs which support the company’s effort to attract, motivate and retain talented employees.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Administer the Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) plan including processing employee deferrals, distributions, and statements to ensure compliance with plan specifications.
Administer the employee stock plan including processing all grants, and coordinating with the stock vendor and transfer agent to ensure accurate reporting and timely processing of all stock transactions.
Review key job duties and accountabilities to determine appropriate FLSA classifications to ensure the company is compliant with federal and state laws.
Implement and maintain base compensation programs to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
Provide compensation data that enables managers to make informed decisions when making job offers and recommending promotional increases.
Participate in compensation surveys which provide the company with benchmark data on its market competitiveness.
Maintain job descriptions which accurately reflect key duties and responsibilities used for position evaluation purposes.
Review market data trends to identify projected growth in compensation and salary structure adjustments.
Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree is required. 3-5 years experience in the analysis, design and/or administration of compensation programs. 2-3 years of financial analysis/accounting experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written skills Strong analytical, qualitative and problem solving skills. Excellent consultative and communication skills. Work individually but also a strong team player. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
