Associate Director, Total Rewards is responsible for delivering excellent compensation support across the North America business functions. This role will partner with other Total Reward Partners and is responsible for understanding the goals of the business, managing timelines needed to deliver results for the business, and a thorough understanding of impacts, issues and requirements for all Rewards initiatives. Manages and leads identified global Total Rewards projects and initiatives. The successful candidate must have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, handle sensitive information, demonstrate sound problem solving skills, manage details, and deliver results on a company-wide scale.

Proven technical capability with broad based pay delivery, performance management, job evaluation, data analysis, research and cost modeling
Provides complex modeling, statistical analyses, and costing for base, incentive, and stock option programs.
Demonstrated ability to successfully identify the root cause of issues/concerns and propose creative considerations to address the issue
Engage with business HR and leaders to develop Rewards solutions via stakeholder and project management
Provides training, counsel and communication on Rewards programs to business management, human resources and employees
Provides technical expertise and support for Rewards programs administration and communication, including job grading, compensation planning, short and long-term incentive programs

Knowledge , Experience and Skills
Demonstrated expertise in database management and spreadsheet software required.
Demonstrated compensation background in the following areas: base salary, variable pay and performance management, equity programs, job evaluation, data analysis, research and cost modeling.
Able to meet independently with line managers and present compensation recommendations with confidence, potentially in situations with competing viewpoints.
Able to balance client support and global Total Rewards program management.
Able to work independently on projects, with frequent check-ins with manager on direction.
Builds strong justification to support recommendations and effectively communicates to decision-makers.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and well-organized.
Must possess strong time management skills.
Team player who can easily handle shifting priorities, multi-tasking in a deadline oriented environment.
Motivated and willing to take initiative.
10+ years with a MS/MA or MBA or 12+ years with a BS/BA degree, preferably with an emphasis in HR or Business.
An MS degree can be substituted for 1 year of related experience.
Biopharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
CCP certification or course completion desired.
