Representing the very best in healthcare, UT Health East Texas is comprised of 10 hospitals and more than 50 clinics across east Texas. With nearly 7,500 employees and over 1,000 licensed in-patient beds, UT Health East Texas provides healthcare services to thousands of patients annually through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service in a metropolitan service area of a quarter-million people.
UT Health East Texas is building a high functioning Human Resources team to support our dynamic growth. As a result, we are transforming the way Human Resource services are delivered. We are seeking an innovative and skilled Director, Total Rewards & People Analytics to be responsible for leading division strategy for assigned areas. Candidates should have a strong background in compensation consultation, design, implementation and administration as well as leadership with leading HRIS teams in healthcare or other related space.

Actively looks for ways to address the unique needs of each department, making recommendations, interpreting policies and procedures, assessing market competitiveness and developing, socializing and implementing market based solutions
Design, socialize and implement incentive and other variable pay programs aligned to the competitive market and hybrid business strategies
Manage projects in areas such as job assessment and benchmarking, salary range development and other forms of compensation/incentive program design
Create ranges and grades
Manages position title design and nomenclature
Partners with corporate and benefits broker to ensure current and competitive benefits processes and practices are in place
Facilitates the annual compensation process
Facilitates compensation and benefits communication and education
Facilitate tuition reimbursement, Employee wellness, FMLA, Service Awards
Oversite of Employee Injury/Workers Compensation Plan
Ensure robust and accurate employee data is available for reporting and dashboards
Develop and manage up to date job descriptions
Oversite of Division Employee Health
Direct – Manager, People Analytics, HRIS & Reporting and Benefits Coordinator and Compensation Analyst
Indirect – People Analytics & Reporting Analyst and HR Systems Analyst
Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, Human Resources or other related fields required
Masters’ Degree preferred
8 years’ experience related to Total Rewards/People Analytics
