– SENIOR DIRECTOR, TOTAL REWARDS–
Our founding promise to the community is as valid today as it was over a century ago: we will care for all children in our region, regardless of the families’ ability to pay. Together, we deliver superior patient care, advance new discoveries and treatments through pediatric research, and serve as the pediatric and adolescent, academic medical center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho – the largest region of any children’s hospital in the country.
In 2018, U.S. News & World Report once again ranked Seattle Children’s among the nation's best children's hospitals – for the 26th year in a row. We received national rankings in all 10 specialty areas evaluated by U.S. News & World Report, and are honored to be the only pediatric medical center in Washington to be ranked.
As a Magnet designated institution, we recognize the importance of hiring and developing great talent to provide best-in-class care to the patients and families we serve. Our organizational DNA takes form in our core values: Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, Collaboration, Equity and Innovation. Whether it’s delivering frontline care to our patients in a kind and caring way, practicing the highest standards of quality and safety or being relentlessly curious as we work towards eradicating childhood diseases, these values are the fabric of our culture and community.
Our Senior Director, Total Rewards will play a pivotal role leading compensation and benefit strategy and innovation within the three foundational pillars that make up Seattle Children’s Hospital, Foundation and Research. It is an exciting time as we continue to grown in support of our patients and families.
The Foundation is in the public phase of a comprehensive campaign called It Starts with Yes, The Campaign for Seattle Children's, with a $1 billion goal.
At the forefront of pediatric medical research, Seattle Children’s Research Institute is working to cure childhood disease together with Seattle Children’s Hospital and Foundation. The Institute consists of nine major centers and is internationally recognized for its work in cancer, genetics, immunology, pathology, infectious disease, injury prevention, and bioethics.
Our culture is built around our six values – compassion, excellence, integrity, collaboration, equity and innovation – and the ways in which we live them.
When you choose a career at Seattle Children’s, you become part of a culture where these values are exemplified every day. You are also choosing an organization that provides benefits that focus on equity across our employees; where patient safety is our top priority; and where we strive to hire a workforce that’s as diverse as the patients and families we serve.
The Senior Director, Total Rewards will develop, implement, and administer all compensation and benefits programs for Children’s employees including base salaries, bonus & incentive plans, executive compensation, physician compensation, retirement and health & welfare benefits programs.
