We have an exciting opportunity in our Boston office supporting Client Relationship Managers as a project manager on all analytical work. Day-to-day responsibilities primarily include:
Interfacing and serving as a primary point of contact to clients throughout the course of an engagement
Managing junior staff members on all compensation consulting projects, including data review and finalizing all reports/projects
Completing sophisticated analytical and compensation-related work; responsible for handling the most challenging/unique client assignments
Providing in-house training and serving as a mentor to junior staff members
Typical client projects include developing groups of comparable companies for benchmarking purposes, benchmarking executive and director compensation levels and program design attributes to market, developing short- and long-term incentive plans, gauging the alignment of executive pay and company performance, studying executive employment and severance arrangement terms, and monitoring policies from the shareholder advisory firms. Consultants / Vice Presidents may assist or own thought leadership research projects or publications, take part in business development opportunities, and can contribute internally on various firm-wide initiatives or task teams.
The ideal candidate will have the following expertise:
Strong data analysis skills and highly proficient with Excel
Exceptional focus and attention to detail
Proficient in project management and leading groups
Strong interest in networking and business development
High level of business acumen
We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 6 - 10 years compensation consulting experience, preferably with executive compensation expertise. Background in Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business, or Data Analytics is a plus.
