Manage the administration of compensation areas assigned to the position – participate in compensation strategy and responsible to implement and administer all elements associated. Identify and recommend solutions/improvements to compensation processes. Consult with Human Resources Management and/or hiring managers regarding compensation issues. Manage resolution of issue escalations from the Shared Services Center.
Perform job evaluations and market price positions utilizing a variety of salary surveys to recommend the appropriate grade for positions across the organization
Manage special projects such as designing job codes and salary structures, conducting comprehensive FLSA review, as well as annual projects such as salary planning and bonus accruals and year-end calculations
Participate in compensation surveys; ensure compliance with various laws and regulations such as the FLSA or other international standards
Provide consultation to HR personnel for compensation advice and systems guidance
Lead automation projects relating to compensation programs on a global basis; key member of global job leveling project – determination of methodology and implementation into the system
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and presentations to staff and senior management
Provide assistance to executive compensation such as administering stock options and releasing restricted stock, proofing calculations, etc.
Assign or conduct research or investigation to resolve issue escalations from the HR Service Center
May assign, supervise, and review the work of direct reports for assigned work unit
Perform other duties as requested
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources (or equivalent experience), and
Five (5) years of experience in Compensation or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook; plus experience working with relational database systems
Excellent report building and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to focus on details and deliver high-quality, accurate results
Capable of planning and managing multiple projects at one time
Ability to work with general office equipment such as: personal computer/keyboard, facsimile
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Certification
Proficiency in using various cloud based compensation data management tools such as MarketPay, Pay Factors, Kenexa Comp Analyst
Experience in using various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Taleo, SuccessFactors, Brassring
