As a member of the Corporate Total Rewards Team, the Compensation Analyst will contribute to an effective and efficient delivery of Compensation-related tasks including job evaluation, market pricing, participating in external total rewards surveys, supporting the annual Compensation Planning cycle and being a subject matter expert to collaborate with internal stakeholders such HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Supervisors/Managers and other colleagues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with HR Operations Team to respond to position requests for new roles and revised existing roles.
Review requests for new or revised job descriptions to determine appropriate job grade-leveling.
Engage in job analysis, market pricing and development of new job descriptions to support recruitment goals.
Ensure that Workday Job Description repository is updated and maintained reflecting appropriate job codes and other job evaluation guidelines.
Meet established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in support of recruiting goals.
Provide advice to Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams, HR Business Partners, managers, and business leaders on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation.
Provide salary recommendations that seek to address market competitiveness and maintain internal pay equity.
Work with HR Business Partners and stakeholders to standardize and streamline existing compensation and job description practice and monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Prepare relevant dashboard reporting/analytics.
Work with Workday Team to ensure that the system meets compensation needs and is updated to reflect changes to approved salary structures, and cash and equity bonus programs.
Key resource and contributor to compensation planning process including providing analytical support as necessary.
Support creation of development of training materials for internal stakeholders as assigned.
Support creation and distribution of total compensation statements.
Support participation in external compensation/total rewards surveys as necessary.
Consult with external compensation consultants for advice and expertise as necessary.
Support the HR Operations Team's completion of regulatory compliance reports such as the EEO-1 report as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Keep apprised of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations and stays informed of new industry trends and best practices in compensation.

Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or other relevant concentration.
2+ years of experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs.
Knowledge of compensation and job evaluation theories, applicable wage/hour regulations, and salary survey methodologies.
Proficient in MS Office Suite especially Excel & PowerPoint.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
Working knowledge of Workday HCMS and Compensation Module or similar HCMS system.
