In this role, you will set the strategy for how Human Resources and Total Rewards regulatory matters are represented in the association’s publications, education, membership services, symposiums, conferences and events. You will be relied on to keep abreast of the legislative landscape and influence federal policymakers on key issues that are important to the profession. The Total Rewards Compliance Director will collaborate with other WorldatWork teams (Education, Events, Marketing, Publications, etc.) to create timely and high-value content for our members. Your expertise and insights will help Total Rewards professionals around the world remain informed of legislative and regulatory developments so they can stay ahead of the curve and deliver informed solutions within the organizations they serve.
The Compliance Director role is part of the WorldatWork Content team of internal subject matter experts, specializing Total Rewards. 10+ year’s relevant professional experience within the total rewards and human resource discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and education, required.
Master’s Degree and HR/TR compliance experience preferred.
Passion for the profession and for work that is highly collaborative and mission-driven.
A track record of creating impactful communications to promote understanding of legislative/regulatory intent and impact. ?
Dedication to continuous learning and to advancing the knowledge of the profession
Demonstrated grounding in theory and practice in Total Rewards (compensation, benefits, and/or work-life)
Strong business acumen, drawn from knowledge and experience with various business models and cultures (e.g., publicly-traded corporations, public sector, privately-held)
Excellent communication skills, both written, verbal/presentation and interpersonal
Strong consulting and influencing skills
Demonstrated skills in relationship building with subject matter experts, thought leaders and senior leaders/executives
Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and summarize data/information and make recommendations
A background in leading Total Rewards and/or a focus in Pay Equity
