The Compensation Engagement Leader will be responsible for leading and developing people and business. S/he will consult with clients on compensation program design issues and recommend possible approaches and solutions. Follow through on sales leads passed on by Principals and support business development by contributing to draft proposal documents, industry/company research, and potential lead qualification.
In addition, the Compensation Engagement Leader will act as a technical resource for the group and team back up, as-needed. Manage assigned projects to completion with a high level of technical and professional accuracy. Assist Team Members with research on difficult questions or escalated issues. Establish strong relationships with current and prospective clients and work with clients and employees on coordinating all aspects of project design. S/he will support client consulting projects through management of teams market pricing, job evaluation, regression analysis, salary structure design, cost analyses, and report preparation. Support client consulting projects in the executive pay arena by preparing competitive benchmarking through published surveys and proxy peer groups; participating in discussions with clients on the design and development of annual and long-term incentive plans; performing complex financial modeling and projections, and participating with the presentation of findings to executives and boards of directors.
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree or MBA preferred
CCP Certification preferred
Experience with MarketPay preferred
5-7 years of combined and increasingly complex experience with the following:
Compensation program design
Executive pay practices
Benchmarking pay practices
It is a requirement of this job to consistently report to work as scheduled, be on time, and remain at work for entire assigned shift.
