The Compensation and Benefits Analyst is responsible for the reporting and internal audit of the compensation and benefits functions. Support the benefits and compensation programs to ensure competitive and equitable approaches to attract and retain talent. The Analyst will be adept in benefit and compensation practices. Ensure thorough audits and reporting on compensation and benefit programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Major Responsibilities: • Review, identify and report on benefits and compensation risk management on all benefits and compensation programs, practices and policies • Provide analysis and reporting on pension and retirement plan provisions including reconciliation of pension benefits • Oversee and conduct periodic internal audits to ensure the integrity of both compensation and benefit plans • Support compensation and benefits planning, including benefits open enrollment, compensation salary and incentive administration • Perform salary survey participation in compensation and benefits and report on outcome of results • Analyze and reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency • Develops ROI analysis for various wellness and benefits programs • Develops performance metrics and creates informative dashboards • Develops forecasting and reporting methodology for compensation and benefits planning purposes • Perform job analysis and compensation reporting analytics • Assist in the implementation and rollout on compensation and benefits initiatives • Stay current with industry trends and changes in benefits and compensation • Maintain compensation and benefits budgets, including being responsible for reporting on accruals and forecasting

Position Specifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business HR, accounting, finance or related field • Three to five years of related pension and retirement experience and data analysis experience • Experience with pension and retirement audits is preferred • Ability to work independently with excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple urgent priorities • Creative problem-solver including the areas where there is limited clarity and precedence • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to identify trends and make recommendations • Strong reporting and presentation skills with the ability to interpret in-depth information • High level of critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to understand complex quantitative concepts and models is preferred • High level of confidentiality (ability to be trained and certified as HIPAA privacy compliant) • Excellent planning and follow-up skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills and works well under pressure and tight deadlines
