As a lead member of the consulting team, working in close collaboration with the Managing Director, Consulting, the Senior Compensation Consultant will: - Lead the analysis, project management and delivery of compensation consulting projects that help clients attract and engage key talent;
- Embrace The Croner Company's established, successful approaches in managing the project life cycle – from concept to delivery, working independently or in collaboration with our enterprising staff;
- Communicate with and influence clients proactively regarding project milestones, challenges, needs and risks; cultivate enduring client relationships that result in repeat engagements, client retention and referrals to prospective clients;
- Guide staff activities, focusing on the quality and accuracy of their analyses and professional development; apply project learnings for continuous improvement in work quality and processes; and
- Remain current and facile with compensation concepts, diverse compensation vehicles and regulatory requirements related to compensation
The successful candidate will bring to the role: - At least 8 years of analytically-driven compensation consulting experience that has resulted in implementable solutions for clients, including project management, plan design, data analysis, presentation development and client relations:
- Disciplined approach in building, validating and refining datasets and compensation models;
- Excellent writing and oral communication; ability to tell the story from the data;
- Ability to use relevant data sources to develop meaningful findings and recommendations;
- Deep subject-matter expertise in a wide range of areas relevant to The Croner Company's compensation services and industry sectors;
- Hands-on mastery of analytical tools used in compensation consulting, e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint; and
- B.A. or B.S.; demonstrated high-level academic achievements; M.B.A., M.A. or M.S., Ph.D. a plus
