Kaeppel Consulting is looking for a Compensation Specialist w/ Generalist exprerience to work at a client's location in San Antonio. Possibility to start remote due to covid but the individual will need tohave the capability to also be on site. Individual will develop, communicate, and implement components of recognition and rewards program for the inclusion of base pay, bonuses, and incentives for organizational compensation. Researching, gathering, and analyzing data to determine appropriate salary levels for positions within the organization. Analyze employee related data such as personnel information, professional background, and compensation data to determine business opportunities or trends. Partners with business analyst to join HR, operational, and financial data to assist in planning, developing, and suggesting business decisions used for staffing, productivity and training in employee rewards Summary of Responsibilities: - Experience as HR Generalist for 5-7 years including supporting organizational compensation initiatives.(Compensation tasks: Evaluation/analyzes salary and incentive data, determines appropriate pay grades, conducts or participates in compensation surveys, and conducts job evaluations
2. Support organizational HR programs to include benefits, employee relations, recruiting and understanding of EEO. - Assists in onboarding, and employee development initiatives
4. Makes recommendations regarding salary, grades or market rates for specific jobs to ensure competitive pay practices. (monitors organizational pay) 5. Update and maintain Company level pay data in compensation plan. 6. Conducts market analysis of new store openings and updates/configures data on the HR Systems. 7. Partner with HRIS team in configuration and execution of company’s merit increase program. 8. Conducts Analysis - Use strong analytical skills and techniques with knowledge of business rules associated with Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll Processing, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management to ensure best practices and equity are maintained. 9. Demonstrated ability explain the meaningful conclusions of compensation information and analysis in written and verbal form. 10.Ability to create PowerPoint presentations that are clear and insightful. Develop, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. 12. Use strong analytical skills with knowledge of business rules associated with Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll Processing, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management. 13. Provide alternative solutions with maximum benefits while reducing cost (e.g. cost benefit analysis, pros/cons of solutions) |
