We are looking for you, one who has passion and knowledge of compensation and benefits policies and programs to join the 12th District's People Rewards team. This great opportunity seeks an individual ready to support both compensation and benefits programs here at the bank. You will research and analyze existing and new plans and programs to meet the organization’s strategy and conduct various total rewards audits and reviews. You will proactively and continuously provide recommendations for process improvement. This is a temporary assignment (one year) as a Sr. Total Rewards Analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. As a temporary employee of the Fed, you are salaried and benefited, and work directly for the Bank for a temporary period. Please note this position will also be 100% Remote. Job Description / Summary Perform activities to develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits policies and programs. This includes, but is not limited to: - Performing in-depth market pricing and evaluation of new roles/jobs requests
- Providing compensation and benefits analytics – ensure data integrity, set up and conduct analyses, and present results in various formats
- Administer and manage wellness programs and activities
- Develop meaningful analytics around medical trends and areas of opportunity to enhance benefit plan design and offerings
- Conducting surveys and studies labor markets to determine compensation trends, analyzes jobs, work with and combine survey data to measure the competitiveness of the Bank’s compensation and benefits plans
- Reviewing job descriptions and specifications; applies job evaluation techniques to establish compensation rates that are internally equitable and market competitive
- Maintain and improve upon internal compensation system and practices
- Working with market data and Total Rewards team to benchmark and stay current on industry trends and norms
- Maintaining semi-monthly/monthly/quarterly incentive payment, promotions, equity analysis and calculate required financial reports for payroll and accounting
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree
- Typically requires 5+ years of related experience
- Experience using major compensation surveys, participate and submission of surveys such as: Mercer, Radford, Towers
- Experience implementing and administering wellness programs
- Knowledge of benefit plans, design, practice, communication and administration
- Proficient MS Excel user, with a firm understanding of pivot tables and "if" formulas
- Knowledge of compensation base and incentive compensation programs, bank policies and operations.
- Analyze market data, salary ranges and job leveling compensation benchmarking, market survey submissions.
- Development health and welfare benefit strategy consistent with bank strategy, competitive benchmark data and legal compliance.
