Position is responsible for the program management of the Human Resources compensation function and providing analytics to various business partners such as Benefits, and Accounting and Finance departments. The position plans, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures, provides financial or business related analysis and research that aligns with the company's goals, strategies, immediate and long-term financial solutions and competitive practices. Position is also responsible for ensuring that compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred. Finance or related degree acceptable.
Experience: 8 or more years of experience in compensation Strong knowledge of benefits programs preferred; understanding and experience in ASO contracts, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans; strong proficiency in financial analysis; experience in crafting compensation and benefits strategies, knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation and benefits.
Equivalent Experience: 11+ years of professional experience as outlined above.
Specialized Skills:Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data. Excellent written, verbal presentation and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities; proficient in Lawson Human Resources applications; proficient in accounting/budgeting software; exceptional ability in Microsoft products: advanced Excel skills required; strong leadership, relationship management and team management skills.
